School Site Council

School Site Council General Information

The School Site Council at Starr King Elementary School is comprised of five community members/parents and five staff members.  Our primary focus is to create and monitor the Single Plan for Student Achievement.  We meet on a regular basis to look at data, create goals, monitor student achievement, and approve budgets.  Our meetings are open to the public; however, only elected members may vote.

ELAC General Information

The Starr King ELAC meets once per month between September and January.  We look at our student data and the needs of our English Learners.  After analyzing the data and engaging in discussions, we make recommendations to the School Site Council.
